What a luxury!

What a luxury!

When I went to a greengrocer in Toyosu Market the other day, they were selling round Italian black truffles at an exceptional price.

When you pick it up and open the container, it smells good.

It’s a strong scent rather than fragrant.

Truffles are high flowers, so I can’t rarely eat them, but if it’s this cheap, I can’t help but buy it for private use.

And on Sunday morning, we held a grand truffle party for one person.

Actually, I was hesitating whether to make a truffle omelette, but there was no truffle oil, so I chose truffle toast.

For the bread, I use the one that Yuya baked the day before and gave me a little bit.

The toasted bread is covered with plenty of truffle butter bought at the nearby Seijo Ishii, and sprinkled with truffle salt.

Warm it up a little in the toaster!

The moment you put it in your mouth, a unique scent tickles your nasal cavity.

It would be nice to have white wine for this, but the fifth generation, who can’t drink alcohol, squeeze lemon into carbonated water.

Hmm, what a luxury. It’s a blissful time.

After the meal, I brewed a double espresso called Nespresso, which I love to drink, and made it into an Americano with hot water.

Thank you for your reward breakfast and feast.
