Kobako Crab

As a great lover of shrimp and crab, the fifth-generation owner used to think that the most luxurious way to eat crab was to pick out all the meat, pile it high, and eat it all at once.
Recently, though, he had crab somewhere that had been completely shelled, with the meat beautifully arranged on top of the shell, and it made quite an impression on him.
Yahata Sushi has now begun serving crab in this luxurious style as well.
Known as kobako crab, it is a small crab, but once the meat has been picked and neatly arranged, it makes for quite a generous portion.
It is well filled with both inner roe, outer roe, and crab miso, so one crab per person should be quite satisfying.
Best of all, you can enjoy it while chatting.
Normally, when eating crab, everyone silently concentrates on picking out the meat, don’t they?
With Yahata Sushi’s kobako crab, there is no need for that effort.
By the way, at this time of year our kobako crab comes from Hokkaido.
Please enjoy this bounty from the northern sea!
