During my usual walk, I came across a magnificent tree in the grounds of a temple I stopped by.

Supports had been set up to hold up its thick trunk, which extended sideways.

For some reason, seeing it brought the phrase “supporting one another” to mind.

Yahata Sushi is where it is today thanks to the support of so many customers, as well as the employees who work alongside us.

There is nothing we can accomplish entirely on our own; society as a whole is sustained by people supporting one another.

Seeing this single tree made me reflect on that deeply.

A Sunday spent lost in such thoughts is a fine thing, too.
