At last, cherry blossom season has come around.

These days, it seems to be popular not only with Japanese people, but also with visitors from overseas.

At about this time last year, I went to see the cherry blossoms at night at the Prince Hotel in Takanawa.

The illuminated blossoms were so dreamlike that I pressed the shutter again and again.

When I showed the photographs to a customer, they liked them so much that they painted one.

The painting they kindly gave me is the one shown in the photograph.

Isn’t the way it captures the colors of the illumination remarkable?

It is amazing to express these colors with paint.
