A Hero Produced by Our Local Totsuka Daiichi Elementary School

When it comes to Yahata Sushi’s local elementary school, it is Totsuka Daiichi Elementary School, affectionately known as To-ichi.

The fifth-generation owner’s great-grandmother, the fourth-generation owner, and Yuya all graduated from this school.

And now, one of To-ichi’s graduates is making a name for himself in the ring.

His name is Ryuto Shiokawa.

He is a lightweight fighter in the RISE mixed martial arts organization, and he is an exciting up-and-coming talent currently on a hot streak.

At To-ichi, where the fifth-generation owner gives a speech every year, he has had the pleasure of appearing alongside Ryuto for the past two years.

Up close, he is kind, passionate, and an exceptionally fine young man!
